These biographies were submitted by a researcher and evidently abstracted from the 1876 History of Sangamon County, IL. Errors could occur, so one should always verify the correctness by obtaining copies of vitals and performing all necessary research to document what is contained herein.



BALL, JACOB, born about 1829, at Flersheim, Nassau, Germany, came to America, and to Sangamon county, with his half-brother Valentine, in 1837. He was married in 1867 to Sarah Conner. They have two children--

ELIZABETH and THOMAS, and reside in Ball township, six miles southeast of Chatham.
