DOWLLAR, MRS. LUELLA M.

Obituary - Illinois State Journal, Springfield, Illinois, 19 June 1964

Mrs. Luella Mae Dowllar, 60, of 2600 S. Pasfield St., died at 7:10 a.m. today at St. John's Hospital. She had been in failing health the last four months.

Mrs. Dowllar was born in Riverton, the daughter of Clarence and Alice C. Fox Hamilton. She was a resident of Springfield the last 43 years. She was married to John Dowllar, who preceded her in death March 20, 1952. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Clarence, who died 28 years ago, and John Robert, who died Dec. 25, 1955, and one daughter, Mrs. Alice Mae Goodall, who died last Feb. 19.

Mrs. Dowllar is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary Hughes of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Vera Creason and Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons, both of Springfield. And Mrs. Edith Teubner of Decatur; one son, Arthur Dowllar of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. J. Bertman will officiate and burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


ENGLAND, MRS. WILLIAM

Obituary - Athens Free Press, 14 June 1963

MRS. WILLIAM ENGLAND, 83, RESIDENT OF WIGGINS AREA, DIED FRIDAY, JUNE 7

Mrs. Pearl England, 83, wife of William P. England, a resident of the Wiggins community, died Friday, June 7, at Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are her husband, William P.; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Schott of Peru; a son, Dale of Springfield; and a brother, Earl Grant of Athens. She was born in Menard County, and was preceded in death by three children, Mildred, Lyle, and Nellie.

Funeral services were held from the Mott and Son Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Charles Embree, of the Christian Church, in charge. Interment was made in Brittin cemetery, southeast of Cantrall.


FULTON, ARMINTA

Obituary – Athens Free Press, 5 June 1964

ARMINTA FULTON, 95, DIES; CULVER COMMUNITY RESIDENT DIED AT 3:45 P.M. MONDAY

Mrs. Arminta Fulton, 95, respected long-time resident of the Culver Community, died at the Americana Nursing Home, Springfield at 3:45 p.m. Monday, where she had been a patient for several months.

She was a daughter of Henry and Fannie Cantrall Graham.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Fannie Kincaid, of Athens; one son, Amond Fulton, of New Holland; one granddaughter, Mrs. Ray Page, of Springfield; one grandson, William Fulton, of East Peoria; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Carrie Van Meter, of Williamsville.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Mott and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kyle Shown officiating. Burial was made in Indian Point Cemetery.
