Three photos of Divernon Grade School Classes
The one in
the center is marked school year 1912-13, Room 3, Ruth Rutherford-Teacher.
My husband's mother, Esther Ruth Poppy, is identified with a tiny "x". The
top photo is not marked for the year and I assume was either the year
before or after the middle photo and Esther is identified again with a
small "x". The bottom photo is her sister's, Margaret Poppy, class, year
also unknown but assumed to be about the time period of the others. She is
also identified with a small "x". Esther Ruth and Margaret were 2 of 5
daughters of Andrew Poppy and Agnes Kuti. I've been researching the family
for my husband and we have found no information on Andrew or Agnes.
